Hanging around for a bit to clear the snow from the driveway then traveling to see the family for the holiday.  The driving should be interesting, the first real snowstorm always seems to bring out the idiot in drivers.

We're supposed to have 4-5 inches by noon then maybe a little rain to really make a mess of it.

I only drive in snow if I go looking for it.

The holiday.... would be your Thanksgiving then?

Nate, WTF?!  That's a good six weeks of (unnecessary) hurt.   [thumbsdown]  You gotta finish the house and with you all banged up isn't going to help.

Bruised or broken rib recovery schedule:
Week 1: pain all the time! And no sleep.
Week 2: no pain while in certain positions
Week 3: family gives you a cold, every sneeze is equivalent to being stabbed, right back to week 1.
Week 4: more improvements in the pain department but the odd clicking sound in the ribs is unsettling.
Week 5: still can't sleep in the preferred sleeping position.
Week 6: "How can this still hurt?!"

Wish you a speed/painless recovery! And stay safe!

Sorry to hear about your (semi) high dive...I sincerely believe the extension ladder will play a pivotal part in my ultimate demise.

I also believe the extension ladder will get me too or the post office parking lot (many seniors in my town, there's been many accelerator/brake confusion incidents there.)

My ribs haven't stopped clicking since I ran into Rick 2 or 3 years ago and crashed hard.

I'll be fine...I finished out the day lugging 20 foot 2x10's. ;)

You made the trip just at the right time.

The weather sucks. ;D

Sorry to hear about your ribs Nate.

Congrats on the house so far. That will be great for you guys, what will become of the old house?

The town says it has to be demolished because I can't have two residences on the property.

A couple of friends have suggested gutting it, calling it a garage, and parking the Massey inside. ;D

Yup, good excuse to overdose on turkey and pumpkin pie.

By the way, G'morning!
