So, lately i've been getting the itch to buy myself a semi-nice watch (i think most Tag Heuer are out of my price range).
i'm thinking a couple hundred bucks should get me what i want
i keep finding Seikos in this price range that i like. I also found some on Fleabay for cheeeeeeaaaapp - but how can one tell if they are real?

what should i look for?
any other brands?

...lets see yours

No pics, but my father has worn Seiko watches for years without issue.  He also has a Wittenauer (sp?) that was a 20-years of service gift from the company he worked for.  Rarely wears it, but it is really nice ~

I wear this every day....  It's great.  I'm pretty clumsy with it and the band is getting pretty marked up from hitting shit but that's probably easily fixed.  The kinetic movement is awesome.

I have a Seiko Kinetic, nice watch. Make sure you get the sapphire crystal though.

my current lust, cause I will never afford an omega seamaster

Also check Costco.

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

It's just the second hand, always running.  The two red hands are for the chronograph function.

TiAvenger, I can't quite make out the name, what's that one called?  It's a fantastic looking watch.

Check out Rado ceramic. Mines 10 years old looks brand new, Sharon has a 17 years old one that still looks great.

i like the citizen eco drives...

If you drive the nicest car in the neighborhood, work in a cash business, and don't pay taxes, you're either a preacher or a drug dealer...

I have had several mid-priced watches over the last 20 years. The best one so far has been the Citizen Eco-Drive Solar-Tech Alarm/Chronograph with an all titanium case and band. I'm wearing it now and have for a couple of years. It is not without it's quirks. Mainly that damn thing better see the sun on a regular basis or it doesn't keep time. However the gold tone plating hasn't worn off at an highly accelerated pace like the Seikos and Pulsars I've had in the past. The Ti watches are stupid light. You hardly know your wearing it.

That is the Coultura line.

The Perpetual Kinetic model. The other model lines have a similar designed one as well.

Not sure what you other options are, but I don't like large watches. I wear a Skagen...
