You're saying a Multistrada with a DP Touring windscreen is a chopper?!

Are you making some sort of distinction between an L configuration and a V configuration? Where would a Moto Guzzi Norge fit?

Incidentally, I always think of the typical chopper as having no fairings at all, no windscreen, and being utterly useless for touring.

I wont argue with you ... YOU'RE RIGHT !!!

But I said, today's kids, now I must correct myself and say 'today's 3rd world kids ..." better?

Ducati is the pretty girl that can't walk in heels without stumbling. I still love her.

According to Navy regulation, our Monsters are in fact sport bikes and not standards.

Yeah, well, I'm not in the Navy anymore.  [cheeky]

As I remember back in '92 when the Monster was introduced to the public it was called a "naked sport bike"  As compared to most standards it was lighter, with more lean angle and a rather steep front geometry plus big Brembo brakes off the Superbike and a more aggressive riding position than most standards of similar displacement.

Not to change the discussion.... had a couple "Racebike builders" ask Me " If Ducati is so high performance, why would they run two cylinders out one exhaust??"....I burst out laughing, as We were in a good sized biking crowd, and had to explain the dual spark ignition system. I think They are still wondering...    I was on My MTS1100.  [laugh]

There's a lot of money in Scottsdale.

For some reason, whenever there's a lot of money somewhere, there are also a lot of really hot chicks.

From a stricktly scientific point of view, this corrolation proves nothing.

Yeah, right.
