That is your browser's spell checker, the forum doesn't have one.

I must be the exception......I only get compliments on my bikes, especially from kids. I guess they know quality when they see it ! Kids are amazing. Of course they always want me to do a wheelie !

During a fill up a while back, a guy on the opposite side of the pump looked at my bike and said, "Is that one of 'em nayked Ninja's?" (full southern slang)   Huh?  I said, "Uh, No".  He replied, "to bad, 'em bikes are cool."  I think my IQ dropped during that conversation.

Got another one last night at the bar (I was there to eat, I don't drink and ride). Guy asked me "Why did you buy THAT instead of a Harley?  You know what I'm saying?"  I said "No, I don't what you're saying" and laughed.  He was also wearing a leather bandanna and vest with an American flag patch on the back that said "Try burnin' this one a**hole."  The ultimate.

"Is that a motorcycle?"

"Why, yes. Yes, it is."

"I thought you had a Vespa. Isn't that a Vespa?"

"No. This is a Ducati. It's a motorcycle. The Vespa is a scooter. It's at home right now."

"So, that's a motorcycle?"

I love pulling up to a stop light and have people on my right stare at the spinning clutch in amazement like it's going to explode. Got a black Speedymoto 5 spoke cover and red Kurki pres.plate and red button kit. Have had two people ask me "what the hell is that thing?" while leaning out the window. Haven't come up with a good smart ass answer yet, they always catch me off guard. Any good smart ass replies to clutch inquiries out there? I need to be ready and armed next time. waytogo

I've just started telling people "oh, it's the third wheel, it pops out of the engine if it senses the bike is tipping over, kind of like those mercedes head rests in the convertibles" 100% deadpan  Vino!

You should start telling them its a form of an arc reactor. You know, the same thing that powers ironman.
