Thanks for the suggestions, I may have to look into getting some reflector tape for the wheels, and I definitely need acetone or something else to get the stickers off. My parents have a heat gun so I may just make use of that when I see them next.

The heat gun is a must. You'll need acetone or something like it (goo-be-gone) to get the sticky residue off after you get the stickers off.
