DRKWNG

And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

Comes a time
When the blind man takes your hand
Says don't you see
Gotta' make it somehow
On the dreams you still believe

I took these this morning.

One of these days I'll get to see that thing in person. That is if I can ever get my ass outta bed as early as you do!!

Great shots by the way! Is that the section of Angeles Forest between Big Tujunga and the ACH?

Thanks, I'm glad you like them.

You can get an alarm clock on eBay.   [cheeky]

The pics were taken on Charity Flats Road, which is what Santa Anita Blvd is called if you ride on it North long enough.  It's not a very long road before it dead ends at a park in the mountains.  It's also very treacherous: many very technical turns, a number of which have sand in the lane.  If you go up that way, be careful.  Be very careful.

[Post Script]  The first time I rode up that way I came around a corner and hit some sand.  I was going rather slowly at the time, but my front end washed out on me and I started to go down.  Suddenly the tire caught the road again and I didn't fall.  However, when I finally stopped the vinyl on my seat was deformed into an * where my butt had been.

Here are a couple more from the same ride/shoot facing South, with Arcadia, El Monte, etc. in the background...

Doesn't look like Wood County to me. You lost or something Norris? [laugh]

You'll like this. Went to my place near Winnsboro last week to water what ever was still alive in the yard and the AC was dead in the house. Hmmmm... 103-105 outside and 95-97 inside. Took two and half a days for the AC guy to show up. Weee.... what fun. [bang] Stock tank went dry in May. Rain? What's that? See what you've been missing? [roll] [laugh] Hell, too hot to even ride. Come on October!!
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.
