The comment wasn't meant to offend. If you look at my post I am quoting you as well as another member. The discussion was about whether chain guards would protect your leg in the event of a chain breaking. I am merely stating my view on the issue not trying to preach to you about wearing gear.

I modded the rear hugger because I didn't want to remove it. We had a chain break on our other Monster and it ripped into the crank case - the thought of what that could have done to a leg is horrific. So removing the chain guard which is part of the rear guard is not something that I am willing to do.
