If I had an EVO that would pretty much be the way that I would have it set up.
(Except that I would have the rim strips go all the way around instead of just partway)
MACDUCK, fyi - i think those rim stripes are partway from factory.

well... i got rid of my 796, still kind of miss it...
but messing around with her hot older sister makes it sort of ok
was planning on getting a sf848, but this '10 sfs1098 popped up for about 1k less than the sf848, it was too hard to pass up.

no, it doesn't really bother me. i added some handlebar risers (that don't really raise it much at all), an open clutch cover, and a couple more carbon pieces, but that's about it. it doesn't need much.
