If I had an EVO that would pretty much be the way that I would have it set up.  [thumbsup]

(Except that I would have the rim strips go all the way around instead of just partway)

No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.

MACDUCK, fyi - i think those rim stripes are  partway from factory.

They are on my 796 anyway and appear continuous when rolling.

You're right.  I'd still fix that.

well... i got rid of my 796, still kind of miss it...

but messing around with her hot older sister makes it sort of ok :D

was planning on getting a sf848, but this '10 sfs1098 popped up for about 1k less than the sf848, it was too hard to pass up.

it's pretty insane... i gotta say i kind of love it.

did you do anything to fix the right heel issue?  i'm looking into options now, trying to decide btwn the rizoma heel guards or just getting the spacers/longer pegs.

no, it doesn't really bother me.  i added some handlebar risers (that don't really raise it much at all), an open clutch cover, and a couple more carbon pieces, but that's about it.  it doesn't need much.
