That was painful to watch. I thought this series would go 5 or 6 games. Now it will for sure.

I'll say it.....the ducks could go all the way. They look great out there. But it's weird when you are watching a game, and you hate both teams (ducks & wings) and you don't want either to win. Is is possible for them both to lose the series? That would be ideal. I hate them both that much. And it looks like I might have missed a good Canes/Bruins game. Shutting them out at home is huge.

Go Sharks!?!

I felt the same about the pens/flyers series.

yeah, i feel the same way, not sure which of those two teams i hate more...

the first period of tonite's game was pretty good, it's not often that you see the big O fan on two quality scoring chances in a single period.

Dammit, I had to leave halfway through the third period on this game. I missed all the action. 2 hat tricks. This may very well be a Crosby vs. Ovechkin series.

Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

. . . and the save of the game doesn't go to Hiller tonight, but goes to the ref that blew that quick whistle. I know he lost sight of the puck and all, but that cost Detroit a chance to possibly turn it around in overtime. Oh well.

add that to a dirty GWG and you have pissed off DRW fans!

Dirty? How so?
(FTR, any goal that beats the Wings is clean in my book  ;D)
Respeta mi autoridad!

picks tonite?  i like both road squads...   pens desperate, but perhaps that will make them play a little tight, caps are just looking real good these days.  and the bruins are just too good of a team to lose two straight to the canes.

osgood had the puck in glove - no whistle. a duck smacked the glove with the stick and forced a rebound, and neidemeyer crashed the crease playing the goalie and hitting the loose puck. I'm not saying it should be waved off (even though I think it should), but it wasn't even reviewed. If Holmstrom is partially in the blue, it's interference. It's another example of inconsistent calls.

+1   Datsyuk and Hossa better step it up
Well, Hossa had a pair.  Datsyuk has had some really great chances but just hasn't been able to get the puck behind Hiller.  The Wings spanked the Ducks tonight and I think it will continue in Detroit now that they know they can beat Hiller.

I was happy to see the Wings finally play like they wanted the cup.  I'm also happy to have a game in the Midwest so I can watch the entire game and not be a Zombie the next day.  [thumbsup]
Blackhawks looked the the better team last night too.
