Big Troubled Bear

This bike was built by my local dealer here in South Africa.

All I can say is that it was a lot of work and if you want one you can have it, it will be built to order

Specs 1100 multistrada with brembo andOhlins everything, rest are fabricated.
Tank, fenders, tailpiece and fairing are carbon fibre, special one offs by the makers of BST.

I like it - very imaginative. Why did you decide to use a belt vs chain and did you add any extra output shaft supports?

I am not the builder, but this isn`t the first belt conversion that has been done on a ducati from this shop, they have done a belt conversion on a SBK framed monster with a SSS wich has done some 10 000 Km`s with no maintenance whatsoever.

As for support on the output shaft look closely at the last picture and you will see that it looks to be part of the swingarm pivot point

I'm impressed. However, I do not think mounting your foot pegs from the front cylinder's exhaust valve cover is a good idea, even if there is a secondary mount. Something about that screams "no!" to me.

And I was afraid of OCC ....  [puke]

That looks good.  Nice finishing work.

Why bother clicking if you don't like Choppers?

The footpeg mounts have been designed with a built in flaw to break off in the event of a tip over, but they can still take the owners 135 Kilo weight.

And I don`t like choppers, but this is way better than anything OCC can come up with.

Frame and tank uses styling cues from a monster.

good god...that shifter rod is longer than my.... nevermind.

+1 on confused by this... never understood the desire to make a great bike like that into a chopper.  makes as much sense to me as making a monster dirt bike.

Not bad. I don't really feel the need to barf or look away.

It's got some really nice bits in there. But those horns need to go.

i thought those horns looked hilarious on it actually.. i wouldn't put em on my bike, but i know i've seen similar versions at a truck stop they always make me laugh.
