That is a pretty racist comment.   Some Jap bike.   I don't recall anyone saying "Some Dago bike".   You make the comment like you think certain other motorcycles are superior.

I am Japanese, and that is an offensive comment.

Ok... I'm not sure if you're serious or joking.  Nothing racist about it, sorry if you were offended.    It was Japanese, couldn't exactly tell which one.. Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha... a few years old and he had all the regular decals removed.  In their place silly looking decals with "Seven 1/2" written everywhere. Not sure if that was his shoe size or his IQ, but they could both be confused.  Certain motorcycles are superior, this example was definitely not one of those.

Yeah - that's an SV (I think) also - like the 2nd fool.

And that 749/999... not really a crash... it's  a poor choice for a slow ride competition.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

I wear what the real riders and racers wear, you know, the guys that ride for a living.  I wear Arai, Shoei and on occasion, Simpson.   If you've got a $10 head, wear a $10 helmet (from an old Bell Helmets ad).

That's a pretty ignorant comment. There was an article I'm sure someone can post up the link to showing several helmets tested. One of the best tested was a $120 helmet. I think you have a superiority complex...

Helmet review I read found the same thing - some of the safest helmets were the least expensive. The extra money you are paying for is a questionably more advanced cooling system, lighterweight, and fancy schmancy graphics.

And, really, there is nothing racist in calling motorcycles made in Japan "jap bikes", because, they are afterall japanese made motorcycles. There's some three-letter acronym for it as well, I can't remember the exact combo, but something like GJB, for Generic Japanese Bike. (Except I thought it was a U instead of a G).

I'm sure they (professionals) have a whole lot of say in which helmet they pick, and its not about who pays to have their label going around the track.

Seeing as my 10 dollar head has been saved by a 120 dollar HJC I will continue to put my faith in them.  :P
