true true but I'd bet I know a little bit about art/music then most here.

I hate when people that are interested in/ dabble in/ have a hobby in art/music try to act like they can appreciate art or music (and we are talking plain old POP, top 40 sheeaaaaat) more then then the "average" joe. Unless you are producing music that I hear on the radio you are just another consumer.

Grampa

Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar kicked me out of the band..... they said I didnt fit the image they were trying to project.

So I went solo.  -Me

Some people call 911..... some people are 911

I solve my problems like an adult, at the strip club drinking on a work night.

Beck posted a ton of pics, but I didn't see any Mensa tshirts in the bunch. Numbers really don't mean a thing in CRITICAL evaluation. If they did, Independence Day would be a much better film than Citizen Kane.

I'm the right demographic to like MJ. I was in 3rd grade when thriller was huge. I also played guitar semi-professionally for about a decade. If we're going to have a dick measuring contest over subjective opinions, I wanted to throw a bit of reality down before I unzipped. LOTS OF MUSIC PEOPLE HATED HIM AND HIS MUSIC. IT'S SUBJECTIVE.

bro the entire world reacted to his loss, feels like 9-11.
you're wrong.
50 shows sold out in 10 minutes flat - no matter what you say to put him and his fans down you are wrong.
750 MILLION copies were sold - think about it.

750 MILLION.

Feels nothing like 9-11. It makes me sick that you even posted that.

karma police [leo]

Not Hindu, Jain, Sikh or Buddhist, so karma means nothing to me.

I guess since the WHO estimates that 17% of the worlds population suffers from mental illness, and 17% of 6.7B = 1,139,000,000... I can see why they can find people crying.

Crying over the loss of a celebrity (unless you were a close friend or family) is like crying over a dead battery.  Sure it served you well, but once it's gone, there are more on the shelves waiting for you to part with your $$$.

9/11 ... not touching that one either.

Still going with my theory on his parents being behind it!

Super T.I.B

Count me in for one who doesn't give a flying make the beast with two backs about MJ or his 'music'.
