Mitt...the wife said not more money on the bike for a while. Not so much a matter of cash that I can't afford Wink

Would it be ok to swap out a chain and sprocket?

I have stock spockets from my S4R you can have for the cost of shipping, they're in brand new condition.  PM me if you want them.

Adam

Edit: Thought you had an S2R/S4R/S4RS ... DOH, these won't fit  Embarrassed

You should let them know that you are going to be charging them "a lack of being able to ride" interest from the day your wife picked them up. Maybe 20-30 %.  Just like any big company would do.  Wink

Good luck with this mess.

If you need a new chain to get on the road with your old wheels. Give me the phone # of the shop where you want to get it, and all you'll have to do is go pick it up.  Wink

That'd be great, but I'm thinking that if the wheels were going to go on your S4, they won't fit my bike. But, they would make an awesome deal for someone who doesn't mind a few blemishes...

The company is in South Africa. I'm willing  bet you could have them resurfaced somewhere in the US for less.

If they're buying you new rims don't you think they'd want to keep the old ones? Essentially, they paid for them. Have they commented on this at all?

I already had arrangements for an even swap DrDesmosedici to trade for a cyclecat GP shifter. That is if I can come up for the money for shipping  Tongue If not the wheels will be auctioned off here on DMF as soon as I get my new ones.  drink
