Hmmmm Polish contributions to cuisine.
Potato Vodka.
Kielbasa.
Perogies.
Peasant food. I hated my grandmothers cooking. Cabbage everything. Yuk.
I eat Italian or Chinese as much as possible.

Me = 1/4 Mick, 1/4 Limey, 1/4 Dago, 1/4 Frog.
Of my own heritage, I have mixed feelings. Love corned beef, hate cabbage. Love haggis, hate bangers and mash. Love ANYTHING Parmesan, hate manicotti. Love pate', hate cheese-eating surrender monkeys.
As a generalization, I love Asian food. Chinese steamed dumplings. Thai curries. Japanese sushi.
Specifically, Vietnamese Pho. Hands down.
Anything you want, mixed into a soup consisting of your choice of broth along with lots of noodles. The only acceptable medium for tripe. Or tendon.
Personal favorite is the seafood medley. I don't usually like squid, but if its surrounded by fish balls and cellophane noodles, I'll deal. Add some Sriracha, a few mint leaves, and a lime wedge, and I'd probably kill for a bowl.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

My fiancee father brought this back from the Philippines a few days ago.
Its some sort of Rice, Coconut Dessert. I think there are small pieces of meat in it also. You warm it up and it taste pretty good actually.
I will let you know if I get the runs later

Okay I found one other thing in the bag of goodies from the Philippines.
Its another dessert wrapped in a roasted Banana Leaf.
It smells like a fine cigar and tastes... well like Coconut and Cane Sugar.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
