You missed the best part.

"This is very rare and collectible motorclycle one of the flagship for Ducati bike production"

Nothing gets more rare or collectible than a salvage title.   laughingdp laughingdp

If the clutch slave is missing, how did he shift it?

Salvage title
Missing parts

I couldn't see givng more than 1000 for it given that a good Ducati mech says its got a straight frame.

I particularly liked this part...

"This bike also comes with full Termignoni exhaust system(needs one lower slip on). [Nothing says "full Termignoni" system like a missing muffler.]  ...Bike has following damages but not limited to...

"...Bike starts and engine runs great, absolutely awesome deep and very powerful sound from engine and exhaust..."

Ya think?  Ya got one pipe wide open there buddy.

Well, that's because one of the muffler cans is "borken".  That sounds naughty dontcha think?  Like, "He was borken every chance he got."

Oh, I don't know..  Parts alone are worth more than 1000

Of course, you have the ol'plastic tank to contend with too.

where was the damage?

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Must have still been in my cache:

"custom 1 of a kind FZR600 - $4000"

"So heres the deal its an 89 fzr600 it does run and its come down to paint and tune up. Its carbs have been out of sync so im sure a new starter wouldnt hurt. I am planning on painting it before it gets sold at this price but it will still will be a hard start and a lil rough till it gets tuned. It has extended gears, new front face and light, a jardine rs one slip on, and aftermarket led read light and blinkers. Now the fun stuff so it has also had all the lights custom placed and a one of a kind hand fabricated rear fairing that wraps around the rear and lights as a single piece and will have a black cherry to candy apple fade paint job so with all that the price sits at 4 for now once i get it back to full running order the price is going to definatly go up here are pics just getting fiberglass and the naked rear"

I think this is the proper place for it. Likely made it a "street fighter" because it's been crashed. And why would you ride with a backpack right there???
