Is it me? Or does this just not look right?:

That guy is a member on the board. He builds some incredible bikes...like I haven't seen one yet that I don't like.
Comes a time
When the blind man takes your hand
Says don't you see
Gotta' make it somehow
On the dreams you still believe

I guess it's just me. I meant no offence.

Speaking of Craigslist, there is an M1100S on the list here in puddletown that would be a perfect replacement for mine if the insurance ever gets finished, butt the person does not answer my emails!

Did you include your contact info in the e-mail? Sometimes cl sellers are particular about that.

As  my message came from my comcast.net email addy I figured that all they had to do was hit reply. Maybe I should try again.

This is kind of  a neat bike:
http://madison.craigslist.org/mcy/3801409558.html

1975 Laverda SFII. Excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. Painted by previous owner, otherwise original. Newer tires. Right-hand shift. Lots of loud fun but still well mannered. Front rotors are stock though the holes drilled in them (for lightness) are not. Clear title.

And that last bike's big brother:
http://madison.craigslist.org/mcy/3801397374.html

Laverda Monty in outstanding condition. This is one of the prototype machines built by Slater Brothers Racing before transfer of the design to the Laverda Factory. This is essentially a racing bike - Montys don't idle, they are very loud, spray gas out of their carbs and are no fun to try and drive around town but ride it out on the open road and be prepared for an experience. Amazing handling, reasonably fast (500cc) and loads of fun. The only way you'll get more attention is to run naked down State street with a live chicken on your head.

Expensive - yes. Unique, insane fun - absolutely. No low-ball offers please - that just insults the machine.

I assume the same guy in Mount Horeb is selling all of these bikes.
I am about to make someones day.  No joke, this is a winner.  I am considering getting an ill advised loan to buy this.  But I'm getting married on Saturday, so I can't.

For the love of god, someone who appreciates this machine should own it:

Beautiful ORIGINAL 1979 900SS Ducati. Exceptional cosmetic and mechanical condition. Featured in Ian Falloon's book "Original Ducati Sport and Super Sport". Currently fitted with Works shocks. Original units are included. Contis, newer tires. Amazing sound and performance.
Yes, its expensive but you aren't going to find another one like this. If you're seriously interested, drop me a note. Please don't pester me with low-ball offers

    Location: Mt. Horeb

Snaps look nice and that's an OK price because collectors have driven that market much higher. One with that mileage could easily have mechanical needs. I had a silver one of that vintage for 6 months but swapped it for a Pantah. They steer like aircraft carriers and will NOT turn at low speed without a lot on hanging off. NOT my style. That black lacquer also scratches if you look at it sideways. Belongs on a mantelpiece or Autostrada, not on backroads...

I am accepting donations, so that I can find room for it at the 77south home for wayward Italian motorcycles.  I promise it will be ridden and admired and kept out of the hands of squids.

Good luck to you!!! If I had had the room and kept every bike I've ever owned, I'd be a millionaire today. ;)
