On the other end of the price spectrum, a GT 1000 for $7k.

I'm guessing he forgot a "1" in front of the 7 and deleted it when he realized his mistake.

What was the year of the GT 1000?
A year and a half ago a local used shop was selling an '05 GT 1000 for $7k including commission asking price.

That thing would have been super-rare as the GT didn't come out until 2007.

Funny, though, you don't need to delete it, you can go in and edit it.

It was an 07 with a salvage title. Except for a small ding in the tank it looked choice.

My memory is bad. scroll down and see the '07 that was sold. When I saw it the seller was asking $7k but the shop owner said he'd probably take around $6k as it had been for sale awhile. I was still recovering from t-boning the deer so couldn't take it for a test ride.
Oh well, I'm more than happy with the S4Rt

99 ducati ss 750 custom bobber - $3800 (mckellips and stapley)
99 ducati ss 750. carbon fiber front fender, aftermarket exhaust, slipper clutch, hand made seat pan, modified rear frame section, repainted frame, custom color/paint on bike tins. One of a kind ducati, gets lots of looks and attention. Text for info. Jerod 480 326 3481 unsure of exact mileage, salvage title when I purchased owner said it was due to plastics being stolen. Bike doesnt appear to have ever gone down.

Ummmm..... among the several things wrong with that ad, why does that 750 have the horizontal belt cover from a DS motor?

And why would you highlight that as if it were a desirable feature?

$1200 for everything but the frame. Jeez, if you had the extra cash on could have a full bike for 2G's.
But considering the lack of frame, low price, and the nyc area, it stinks of theft.
