Enormous amounts of potential...some great mods and design cues....but there is some totally WTF crap on that bike that makes me shake my head....

I agree.  There are some good ideas in there, and from certain angles it looks kinda cool... but the end result just kinda falls flat.  It's missing something, and I think that something is the "craftsmanship" part.  I have seen a couple black-and-drab "rough" scramblers done by guys who knew what they were doing, and even though there wasn't a spec of shiny paint on them, they still looked *very* well done.

Oh... and the 750 mill is a significant WTF.  For a truly custom build I'd want a 900 or 1000DS (dry clutch).  But that's just me...

I'm actually kind of digging that thing. Don't like the headlight and the seat doesn't seem to visually fit it too well, otherwise, I'd love to have that for running around atlanta on.

my WTF thoughts start with

-you took a metal tank off and put a plastic tank on that will expand
-no speedo is asking for trouble
-the half assed paint on the tank
-the half assed modification of the seat
-half assed Auto Zone pipe tips on the headers for exhaust.
-the question of how that rear end feels squatted down with a single outboard shock like that

that being said, I do like the headlight, and some of the very cool things he did do. I disagree on the 750 part as I think it is a perfectly fine motor for city boppin around as well any riding below 75mph...I think the tires might be a bit sketchy in the city, but I like the look of them on the bike and the bike sounds kinda nasty in a good way.

I think there's a shock on each side of the swingarm.

I've been contemplating nobbies on my bike, which has become my in-town bike... but I think I like corners too much. And... I think they'd look better on spoked wheels.

I agree. Any time spent looking at gauges is time spent not looking at the road.

Not sure if this is a "crack addict" post, or just sad:

I'm thinking crack pipe. Maybe 7k since it can still be a nice track bike IMO.
