C'mon people, you have to post the whole ad not just a link.  Craigslist regularly cleans up their site of fraudulent postings, often before anyone here gets a chance to behold a dodgy listing in all of its glory.

Having said that, here is the above referenced ad:
Black 2000 Ducati 750 Monster - $1700

This is an extremly beutiful 2000 Ducati 750 Monster with 2500 miles. Here is the deal I was going to post on ebay and i'm trying to avoid that for right now. I'm living up in Phoenix Arizona and just wanted to do a little fishing before I list. The bike needs a new battery. The bike has been garaged for the last 7 years and haven't been ridden since who ever owned the bike left it behind when they moved. If you want more pics please feel free to email me. $1700 cash firm Thanks for your time

~Ducati 900SS + extras
ok..... here it goes.
ugh. my garage is too full. if just building a bigger garage was an option, i'd take it.
so a few rides gotta go. I realized this is a project I won't get to.~

1997 Ducati 900ss trackbike. (street stuff possible)
i bought the bike in its current state, and this is all per the PO, as i never got it on the track.~
-stock suspension
-carbon fiber fender
-aftermarket clipons of unknown mfg
-steel lines
-916 upper
-916 tail
-tank nice
-the harness has been modified, so there is no key, just a toggle. (H&T light plug in there)
-frame modified in rear with extra supports
-would need tires if you're a trackday shredder or racer. just warming up, i'd use them.
-carbs jetted
***the bad- engine popped a belt on the front cylinder 2 owners ago. i bought this from a friend who planned on fixing it, and imagine has too many projects! the motor bent a valve, and broke the valve seat, there is a very slight mark on the top of the piston, but i'd use it. head has some marks from the valve, but again, i think it can be saved as well. it wont come with an exhaust, as i already have a deal worked out with another member here for it.~
***the good- i bought a low mile (8400) 900 monster motor that could be included in the sale.~
so it could be as simple as tossing this motor in, and wheelie on.~
***the bad- the frame has title issues, three owners ago the dude either didnt sign it, or signed it in the wrong place, i dont have it in hand.... since i got it from a friend, i wasnt too worried about it, i could have it in a couple days.~
***the good- i picked up a spare frame, with a good, clean title. it needs to be powdered, painted, whatever.~

i have a box full of spare/good/used ducati items as well. misc bolts, electricals, etc....

i'm not even sure how to price this out, as ther's so many ways a deal could go down.... so i'll price things individually, and say a package deal could be made.~

bike, as is: $1750
900 engine: $550
frame: $400
buy it all, and i'll throw in everything for it i have.~

Interested in trades: Hawk GT, SV650....anything interesting.

Somebody buy this bike.  We don't have a 'Someone please buy this beautiful bike to keep it away from squids' thread, so I thought I would post it here:

1975 NORTON 850 COMMANDO - $4500 (Darlington,WI 53530)

For sale is my mostly original 1975 NORTON COMMANDO with just over 10k on it and I have a clear title for it.Spring is just around the corner and this old classic is ready to ride the way it is,or you can give it a little face lift for a real head turner. The bike needs very little to be a rider,in fact I put a few miles on her last fall.It runs and rides just fine, but could use paint, mufflers and more cleaning-up.I have had the bike stored for 15 years and last fall was the first time I had it out and got it running. If you are interested in taking a look at the bike,I can be reached at 608-776-8230 but just know that I am FIRM at $4500.00 Thank You,Chuck.

It could be Peter selling the bike.  He seems to always selling and buying Nortons.

If you are looking for a chrome plated sub-tech slow no stopping lousy cornering oil leaking louder than Crackatoa motorcycle with black and white tv era technology that you can pay too much for then this bike is for you. This bike will make up for your tiny manhood and eggshell ego and is perfect for that fat-ass tits on the ground tattooed smelly bovine nearly toothless "old lady" you lug around with you every where you go just so you don't have to kiss her goodbye. Now you can show up at biker events and mingle with other beer-aholic losers who play dress up with the black outfits and stupid vests covered in dumb slogan patches and cheesy trinket buttons and pretend like you're a "son of anarchy." This bike has enough chrome on it to blind you on a sunny day and enough money invested in it to keep my kids from having descent shoes or dental care. Why should they be different from Mom and Dad...right? If you buy it this week I'll throw in every other dumb thing I've bought just because it says "Harley" on it. Once you throw a leg over this beauty you can run that movie in your head where you're the big hero and chicks flock around you like flies. Actually those are flies, but your friends will tell you how "bad to the bone" you look and make you feel special and that alone is priceless in a world where you can get a personality from a dealership. So don't wait. Bust out that wallet tethered to you with a dog chain and plop down your kids college tuition and you can fantasize about being a man. This is your chance.
