you can get one here... http://www.bmgparts.com/mount.html That's the cheap part. A nicely kitted 1919 will cost you about $15k.

I know nothing about them other then I found just about every thing I need to get it looking good and mechanically sound in about 2 hrs on the Internet. its gonna take a lot of work to get it right (every previous owner has welded something to the out side and it has some aluminum cab installed by the post office at one point..)
I inherited it, it was my grandpa's for getting around his ranch. the brakes didn't work very well so he mostly used trees to stop  [laugh]

I think it'll be perfect with a modern diesel engine. plenty of power, go anywhere, climb anything. gearing will be fine because the little I4 it came with had about the same operating range. getting a clutch setup working will be the hardest part but I'm not worried..

Yeah, most parts for 'em aren't very hard to find.

And don't throw away that cab without looking into what exactly it is first.  Some of those're worth a decent amount.

My dad's '42 MB has the original mount even though it saw use with some Pennsylvania government agency after the war.
