I like to drive my current ride - '01 Audi A4 2.8 30V.  Quattro of course.  Best thing I've driven in the snow...ever.

I do admit...I love me a Quattro in the snow. Blowing by all the 4x4 trucks and SUVs that are crawling around...

Why do roaches always die on their back?

That because the survivors flip them over to steal their sneakers and wallets.

I grew up in Detroit and my father worked for GM.  He *specifically* told me that I was to own no other car but a GM.  Then...oddly enough...he wouldn't let me buy a '66 Tempest w/and I6 and a 'glide.  Ok...fine by me...then I went into Fords.  Hard core.

We used to drag-race 'em in the summer (& cruise 'em too), and then re-build 'em in the winters in heated garages.

My 2nd favorite make?  Buick

I like my Corvette. I liked my Accord. Basically, I like any car that's got a manual transmission and is reasonably fun to drive.

bluemoco

Just about anything with a V-8 is enjoyable for me.  Cars, trucks - doesn't matter which.  Love manual transmissions, but we don't have one in the garage right now.

Since my 40th b-day is approaching, I've been shopping for an appropriate vehicle that meets my criteria (above).  Already have a V-8 powered pickup, so I guess it's gonna have to be a V-8 powered car.   ;D  A gently used C6 Z06 is high on my shopping list.   [evil]

....for me anyways, these pretty much do it.

Hell yes.  8)  [thumbsup]

The fourth one down is a dead ringer for my brother's '70 Fairlane, which runs the built 351C-4V I used to have in my '70 Cougar drag car.

Here are my current 4-wheeled toys:

My '67 Cougar which I've owned since '86. Doesn't get driven as much as it should, since I'm paranoid about some idiot hitting it and early Cougar parts are unobtanium.  :-\

My '96 Mustang GT, which I inherited from Dad.

Thinking about building a full-tilt, blown 4.6 for the 'stang. But seriously toying with selling both and buying a late model Shelby GT500 convert....

i have had guys reach back and grab my crotch in an attempt to get around me. i'll either blow in their ear or ask them politely to let go of my wang.

That Cougar is awesome. My friend in High School had a '69 Cougar convertible with a 351W w/factory 4 barrel. With a set of glass packs, it's still one of the best sounding cars I have ever heard myself.

not like your big block power machines...but the Cooper S with the traction control turned off is a giggle-fest
