I'm hopefully getting started on a canvas that will be attached to a vaulted ceiling in a church-turned house. Keep your fingers crossed.
It will be a renaissance themed.

Nice belt!!! I've done only a little leather stitching & other leather work (mostly sheathes for knives), but would love to learn more. I just picked up one of those lovely old craft books on leather braiding that's going to be fun; I'd always wondered how to do Mystery Braids like these, where the ends of the leather strips aren't free:

Look closely and you can see where the ends go in between and into the back side. Looks cool though. EDIT: Also looks like I was wrong according to the Martha Stewart website.
