Picked up a favorite of mine:

JM

i went to an Ommegang / Duvel taste and learn thing at my local liquor store on tuesday.  The main speaker was actually in the family that owns Duvel.  good times.  My favorite current Ommegang is probably Rare Vos, but god, i love Hennepin too.  I actually drank a 2009 bottle of Ommegeddon with dinner tonight.  the last sip was sad, i may never taste that delicious bear again in my life.

BTW, i asked who the three philosophers were and he wouldn't tell me.  said they change with every bottle.  lol.

An auspicious start.

Went to Dogfish Head in Rehoboth Beach this past weekend.  I wanted it to be a wonderful experience.......but.  The hostess was rude, the food was mediocre at best and they didn't have half the beers I wanted to try.

Oh hwell.......had some great beers the next night.
