I'll try to take some pictures in the next couple of days and post them.
I got the set from Aztech8.com and have to say the guy is very helpful. Called him about the burnt plug and he tried to help as much as he could over the phone. Highly recommend him.

AFAIK you are the first person, at least on these forums, that has installed a dual headlight kit on a 696. Maybe, the first in the WORLD!!  I am REALLY interested in seeing how it looks on your bike. Get those pictures up!!!

Here are some pics!

I don't think I am the first to do it. There was someone else who did the single headlight conversion.
Since I rarely ride at night, I don't really know if this is better. I would say not. Drivers might see me better during the day due to the addition of another light. The wattage might be a problem for the wiring harness. We'll have to wait and see.

Good luck and safe riding!

Looks pretty good. I would try to move the lights back tighter to the forks of the bike.

Did the kit provide any resistors?

Can't move them any closer because of the gage pod. Initially I had the brackets lower but it rubbed on the clutch cable and cut thru the plastic jacket. You could almost see where I duct tape the cable. It still works (the cable) so will not replace it.
I wish someone could make a bracket that would have the pod and headlight connected somehow. Well, this will do for now.
Also I should note that the pod shakes a bit. Not a big deal for now.
The kid did not come with any resistors as they are not needed. This is where I got it.

They appear to be Rizoma Dynamic mirrors.

That's the mirror. I had the reverse retro on my multi and this are the same in a way. same mirror on a stem. They work just OK. still have to move my elbows a bit to see well.

I'm tempted to sell my CRG hindsight Lanesplitters and pick up a set of these Rizoma Dynamic mirrors they look totally tits.

BUT I will restrain myself for a bit, working on getting woodcraft 3" rise clipons and all that business sorted.

Any chance you can snag a pic of the bracket you used to mount the gauge pod?

I am torn on getting these lights. I think they look cool as hell, so I went around and got some opinions and everyone thinks they look weird.

Did you wrap duct-tape around your forks to mount the headlight bracket??

Yes. I had to because initially I had the bracket lower. After pinching the clutch cable I decided to move the brackets higher. The diameter was smaller so I improvised. You can get the right size as long as you know where you want to mount them.

As far as the pod bracket, I cut the frame of the stock headlight and mounted it so. Not the best solution by far, but would have to do for now. I might go back to stock. Will have to buy a new headlight frame to remount.

I've decided to go back to stock, so if any of you are interested I am going to be selling the dual kit. I will post of the parts that come with it.

still have that kit? I might be interested for the right price.

What needs to be replaced to get everything working again and did you ever get the low beam working.

Still have it. Will try to think of what it entails in making the switch. Too tired right now. P.M me about the right price.
