Another question for ya...what do you recommend for gun safes?

Do you mean a large, stand up type gun safe or a smaller one for one or two handguns? Probably should have asked you that in the first place.
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

I might get it even without a handgun.

mine works very well.  i have it bolted to the wall next to the bed.  fingerprint recognition takes about 3-5 seconds.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

its hard cuz I DO have 5 long guns...but they are put away except for hunting.  It would be nice to have a big safe for them too...but the cost and size is pretty high.  Might just do the biometric route for the hand guns
If you love your bike, set it free.
If it comes back to you, you've
probably high-sided.

Says in description less then a second to recognize, you have a different one or false advertising on their part?

Wow, I keep My sidearm with Me all day, at night I stuff it between the mattress and boxspring under My head. We don't have kids around, so no worries there, just wondering how You handle waking up to an intruder standing over You with a knife, ect. and get Your firearm to action with a 3-4 second wait to unlock the "safe"...After They have killed the Dogs, ect....

They usually don't make it past the moat.

If they do, the alarm system gives me at least 10-15 seconds before they get to my bedroom.

Here's my question; where do you live?  I'd strongly consider moving if I was that concerned...
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

A bedside holster would be faster and more secure.  I bet it takes you longer than 3 seconds to go from dead asleep to finding that pistol under the mattress.  I like nightstand drawers.

Theres a 100+ ways to skin the Cat, just a matter of what You are comfortable with. And it doesn't really matter where You live, the threat is everywhere. I might be a bit paranoid, but it has kept Me alive in some very bad environments. Interesting to hear Everyones ideas tho'... Perhaps some day We won't have to worry about this stuff at all..
