Pics ...

Sorry, I don't post pictures of my guns on the net.

It is a handgun that shoots a 5.7x28mm rifle round

Here is a link to the wikipedia article. Lots of controversy surrounding this gun as FN developed it for NATO and then hit the civilian market. It will penetrate soft body armor which makes it a target of anti-gun people as the only purpose is to kill police officers, etc. I will stop there. Plenty on the net to read about the issues surrounding this gun.

Kind of expensive to shoot, but well worth it

My stamp took just over 6 months.

For a 22 you almost need to be able to service the can yourself. The lead build up is crazy! If you are shooting jacketed rounds then it is not a big deal. It is hard to find subsonic or even standard velocity rounds that are jacketed. that is why I went with the sparrow. This is the new all stainless steel design. It is rated for up to full auto.

I'm looking to fill out my next form 4 for a 9mm AR SBR that is integrally suppressed. ;D

I think I'm looking at July on my current form 4.  Supposedly there are some electronic improvements coming...probably just in time for NFA 2013.

Mine has removable baffles.  Seems like everyone has a different opinion on cleaning, solvents, etc.

I'm going to try and get my new CMMG 9mm lower engraved this week so I can send my Form 1 in.

some other new items that i have picked up in the last few weeks.include a 1969 colt single action 22/ 22 mag. This gun looks like it is new. From what I can tell the original owner never used it. he shot it a few times when he bought it and then it sat. I have also just bought a new carry gun. It is a Ruger SP101 in 327 Federal Magnum. It is a six shot revolver that I have outfited with CT laser grips. Here they are:

That Ruger's a nice machine!

That 327 is an interesting little cartridge.  I have a 32 H&R Mag in a 10" Ruger Single Six.  With the 10" already making the gun unwieldy I threw a pistol scope on it too.  On a good day, I've shot 85 grain XTP's into sub 1.5" groups at 100 yards.  That little cartridge is also pretty violent on critters and stuff.  I'd like to mess with the 327, its even more so.  A Contender carbine barrel in that caliber would be real interesting.

Anybody heard of these?

Coworker claims it is awesome. I'm more than a bit skeptical. Anybody with FHE?

Agreed! I think that this may be in the works. I have seen a lot of talk about this round being used in a rifle. it has been suggested that this may prove to be a great hunting round.

Just looked at the sticky holster website.  I am not super impressed with the holster.  I think it would be fine for sedentary activities, but I'd be afraid if I had to run or move violently for any period of time.  I did like their mag pouches though.  I think they would stay in place well enough and I like that they can accomodate a variety of things such as lights and different size mags in the same pouch.  Might give the magpouch a try.

It looks nice for the pocket. Im not too sure about inside the waist though.

Looking to by a 22 bolt action rifle. I think that I have it narrowed down to the Savage Mark II FV-SR. Anyone know anything about this rifle? Any reason not to buy it?
I had been looking at the Ruger 77/22, but there was just too much negative feedback online. It is also $500 more than the Savage. The Savage has many more options as well. Great trigger, scope rail, 3 position safety, factory bull barrel and a threaded muzzle [bacon].
