a 22 between your eyes and you won't feel a thing....

a 45 will work the same.

I've seen a bunch of shootings where the 22 in the head failed to kill. Conversely, I've seen a few where a 22 under the armpit or wherever did kill. I've yet to see a 45 to the head come out good.

Last time the range master was asking our team what calibers he needed to take down to the range for quals:

Officer 1: forty
Officer 2: forty
Officer 3: nine
Officer 4: nine
Me: Men's

Range master laughed. Officers carrying 9mms didn't. Babies.

Mr. Wizard? I'm not the one that thinks everyone's opinion on this subject is inferior to mine. We get it, you have experience with weapons. I can respect that. I can also respect the opinion of many of the other posters here.

Well then I have made up my mind. Savage it is. This will be a build and will happen after I fix up my Monster a bit. She needs a valve adjustment, belts, chain, rear sprocket and new tires. I am looking for the base gun now though. They are hard to find.
Now to decide on a color for the stock. My options are here:http://rifle-stocks.com/laminated_woods.htm

I like the apache gold, the electric blue, yellowjacket and black widow.

I can't find this gun (Savage Mark II FV-SR) anywhere. I saw it on the web for double MSRP! I can find better rifles in that price range.

That sucks, I was wanting to follow Your build. I really like the FV but the -SR looked very cool...

Instead of cleaning Rem 700s, MP5, 1911s and a Glock 34 today from shooting at my buddy's west TX ranch I have to help clean house for Easter Sunday/in-laws lunch at our house!! [bang] Someone needs to check my marriage contract!! [laugh] [laugh] There has got to be a hidden clause that exempts me from this! ;) [popcorn]

I've seen that video before. That's some neat shit right there! [thumbsup] Makes me want to take my dog on more walks! [laugh] [popcorn] I see more of that "transformer" type stuff in the fututre.

Will Hayden is a joke. He can't even hold a FFL. It was held by Vince, but when he left....why do you think he was freaking out so much on camera?? I believe Joe now holds the license which is why a few episodes back Will named him "Chief Operating Officer."

Edited to comply with board rules
