My Grizzly knife belt grinder has been a workhorse - problem free for nearly a decade.  Not fancy, but very effective.

I've shot the bump stocks - they actually work pretty good for wasting lots of ammo in a hurry.  Fun - as long as someone
else is funding the ammo bill.  Only hits count!

I always hit.......something ;D

They are fun and they do simulate a damn fast cyclic rate.  I like that you can lock the stock out.  I remember one year at 2nd Chance, a guy had a Soviet PPSH subgun.  The upper and lower were  held together with a  zip tie.  They have a horizontally mounted 71 round drum  mag on the top of the action.  I do believe the barrel was completely shot out.  When you shot it, it looked like someone threw an icecream bucket worth of 7.65 Tokarev ammo in the air at one time.  There would be dirt kicking up about halfway to the berm, all across the berm and to the top of the berm.  It would dump that mag in a very few seconds.  Pretty cool looking but effective? Not so much.

Depends on what "effect" you're going for, Comrade!

Hitting what you are "aiming" at? Nyet.

Getting them to keep their head down so you can retreat and wait for winter?

DA!  ;D

A late friend of mine was a Korean Conflict vet.  During the acquisition of his 2nd Purple Heart, a Chinese gentleman was shooting at him with a PPSH.  Dean said, "he was shooting and shooting at me, bullets all around me and I thought "Wow" he's going to run out of ammo before he kills me!"" but the guy did finally hit him and the last thing Dean remembered was seeing his last grenade that he was in the process of throwing roll out of his hand onto the ground.  The next time he woke up, he was in Tokyo - for the next 13 months.  So, I guess the lesson is that if you are using a PPSH, just be patient, the law of averages will eventually catch up.

PPSH = 7.62 tokarev.  Not a fun round to catch.

Chinese loved the 70 round drum too

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Finally took a trip to the dark side yesterday.  I decided I needed to add a Glock to my collection so I bought myself Gen4 G17.  Unfortunately, I won't get to shoot it until I get back from my trip home this coming week.

The Architect

A coworker has a G17.  I really like it.   It shoots great,  for a piece of Tupperware.    ;D

Wish my name was Gaston Glock Jr. ;D [thumbsup] [bacon] For "tupperware guns" they work great and are reasonably priced. I've got Les Baers, custom Novaks, Wilson Combat 1911s, etc. but I shoot my Glocks and assorted .22s as much or more than any "nice" pistol I own. My G guns always work and have never broken or failed. What more could you ask for? ;)

Speaking of Gaston Glock, did you know that in 1999 a former employee hired a hitman to kill Glock Sr. to somehow cover the fact that he'd stolen millions of dollars from the company? The goon tried to bludgeon Glock to death but he fought the attacker off. Both the goon and the now ex-employee got some stiff prison time. Would have been sweet justice if Glock had shot the goon with one of his own guns! Also would have made for an awesome ad campaign!!! [clap] [popcorn] [evil]
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

might as well have a glock around..   so many people have them its easier to find parts for it.    especially is shtf,  it'll be easier to acquire mags and parts if needed..

If the shtf, and that's a big if, I want a 22 single shot rifle and an obscene amount of ammo.

You can have the pistols.
