Sounds like Christmas came early!

I've still got to figure out what to do with the two stripped lowers. We'll have two 556 carbines after I hold the one for my wife, so I think I need to mix it up a bit. I've thought about doing two different 6.5 Grendal rifles. One, a lightweight deer rifle, and the other a long range build.  That'd save me having to only set up to load one more caliber, and round out my capabilities nicely.

Of course I've also thought about doing a Beo or 458...  Both sound like they'd be fun, but rather useless.

Of course a match rifle could be fun as well. Too many choices.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a 450 bushmaster upper - I swage jacketed .452 bullets so I could make some interesting stuff to launch out of it.

So are primers available again?  Been a while since I looked.

I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

CONFIDENCE: the feeling you have right before you understand the situation.

Now that would have made for some good TV. [laugh]

Question: Need a little help. Anyone know of a good Kydex holster maker that builds for Colt 4" King Cobras and S&W 4" 586/686 .357 wheelguns. Can't find shit in my lame internet searches. It's nothing but autos... wheelguns are the forgotten, red-headed step child. Am I looking for the Holy Grail, Lost City of Atlantis, Bigfoot, etc. ???

Comp Tac lists holsters for the L Frame Smiths but nothing for the King Cobra.  I have about a half dozen Comp Tac holsters, they seem pretty decent.  Even have one for a 5" N-Frame.  I think they are even in Texas.

Most of the "smaller" Jude's makers will custom form one for you.  Check out contact concealment and see if they can hook you up.
And the sugar fountain fairy swore so hard when she came to super-size that stale hope soybean; liiiike a homeless German woman. Who is this super-sizing spirit-crushing femme? And tell her I'll break a tree root up in her shrimp.

Being faster than you thought possible…it feels good. No, screw thatâ€"it feels like shotgunning a gallon of adrenaline and chasing it with an all-night orgy aboard a burning Viking boat.

WarrenJ

I really like Comp Tac's paddle holsters.  They are pretty easy to take on and off and are very secure.  They are all day comfortable.  Not quite as concealable as inside the pants holsters, but convenient, relatively secure (not law enforcement secure) and as fast as a competition IPSC rig.  I'm about a half second faster with it than my Ted Blocker LFI rig according to the timer.

Thanks guys for the PMs and posts. I'll begin my search for the Loch Ness monster of kydex holsters. Heck, some folks haven't even heard of a King Cobra! [roll]

Thanks again. If all else fails I'll just replace my old leather holsters with new ones.

If you find one, post it.  I also have KC.  Lovely oddball.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

Love my Smiths and Pythons but the KC does rock. Talk about a tough, over-built revolver! Had the action smoothed up and it's slick like butter. Wish I had taken the time to have the cylinder chamfer cut for easier loading. Most of my other favorite wheelguns have it and it does make a nice difference on reloads.

If I ever stumble across another nice used stainless 4" KC at a gun show I'll snatch it up. [thumbsup]

I'll post up or PM if I find a good outside waistband, strong side Kydex for the KC.
