Woohoohoohoo! Two personal records! For breath holding and number of sharks shot in the face.

Mother

in recent years we've had a number of armed break-ins on medical marijuana distributors (imagine that)

Break in #1:

3 attackers with 2 shotguns and a pistol

1 defender with a shotgun

all 3 attackers are walking down a hallway to the base of a set of stairs

defender gets off 2 shots from elevated position at the top of the stair

takes the hand off of attacker #1 and hits attacker #2 in the (L) thigh

speculation is that the defender was aiming at attacker #1 while he was going down and missed hitting attacker #2

Attacker #3 gets off 5 rounds and runs

3 rounds hit attacker #2 in the back killing him

1 round hits attacker #1 in the neck/jaw

1 round hits the defender in the chest killing him

Break in #2

2 attackers 2 shotguns

1 defender with a shotgun

1 bystander

2 attackers are roughing up bystander at the bottom of a stairwell

defender fires 5 rounds at close range while coming down the stairs

hitting attacker #1 in the in the chest

hitting attacker #2 in the stomach

hitting the bystander in the hand

no one was killed

stairwells always figure into your drama?

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

What I found interesting was the consistency of somebody getting hit in the hands

I heard an observation once that the purpose of a handgun is to get you to your long guns.
This isn't a dress rehearsal for life - this is it!

The gun is in the hands, people fixate on the gun, the hands get shot.

Its still interesting

I also find it interesting that no one was killed from the shotguns

Which leads to a load debate I suppose

Not really interesting, just piss poor marksmanship.  ;)

In the first break in the home owner shot twice and hit one bad guy in the hand and a second bad guy in the leg

The third bad guy shot back with a pistol five times and hit his buddy 3 times, his other buddy once and the home owner

It's the best part of the story

The home owner opens up

A bad guy opens up

And the two poor bastards in the middle catch hell

It's just a bummer that the home owner took one

But

As I understand no one in that situation was a peach

Well, that for certain, at least one of the bad guys won't be a repeat offender.

So target fixation is real?  ;D

Only if you're aiming for a target.
