Do you have time to go to Taos? That is a great ride and then lunch @ guadalajara grill. Gotta have at least 5 hours to devote to this venture. Plenty of gas, amazing roads.

or the crest is fine too but

butt early would = 9am

I'd do the high road to Taos.  The low road sucks, but we could come back that way if we're in an hurry.

Or we could do the crest.

If we do Taos I think we should meet in Bernalillo (like at the Starbucks on 550) and take I-25 to Santa Fe.

If we do the Crest we should meet at Coffee at Dawn as usual.

Either way, we should do sometime relatively early, like 8:00.

Thoughts?

8 is fine, I25 sucks went that way with KB, Dusty and Goduc last time to Taos (but sure, WOULD go that way, return trip that way is preferred). High road is optimal both ways. Could do a crest run with ducmouse on the way too? Finalize this fiasco?Huh?popcorn  bacon

So for the record, Cloner has to ride 40 min. (on the freeway) just to get to Cedar Crest.

Hell, makes sense.  After ridin' that far on the freeway, then a couple of trips up the dirt pile & back. It's all the same, right?

We could live in Nebraska.
