The booklet sounds like intelligent marketing, but I think it grates on peoples nerves to read it and see how salespeople are coached to play on ones vanity.  But hell, it sells bikes.  I wave at everybody on a motorcycle.  Funny thing when you are passing a huge Harley club, as you end up constantly holding out your hand out for a good minute.  Most of the guys wave back.  Live on an island, it's kind of a small community feel amongst most bikers out here.
