He could have thanked the fans of Cleveland for all the love and support they gave him for 7 years and told them it broke his heart to do what it was he did but in the end he was an athlete w, only so many years to  play at the top level and to make his fortune and that he didn't think he could do it in Cleveland.

Who cares. Athletes do this all the time. I'm an A's fan, and I was bummed when Jason Giambi left for the Yankees after the 2001 season. He defined the A's at that time. I still think the A's had an extremely good shot at winning it all in 2002 if Giambi would have been on the team. They were an excellent team...just needed a big bat. Oh well. A's offered him $20M/yr...Yankess offered him $20M/yr with a no-trade clause...but, they're also the Yankees.  He could have continued as a superstar in Oakland, but instead went to be just another inconsequential player in a long line of Yankees.

Just boo LeBron's lame ass when he shows up back in Cleveland, for the entire game, and hope he nevers wins a championship with another team.

Giambi still gets booed in Oakland (although he didn't during his brief return in 2009)...just like A-Roid still gets booed in Seattle. Giambi never won his ring...and now never will. Good...F him.

I don't see that in Lebron, and never have. I believe he has handled himself very well being that he became an instant multi millionaire at the age of 18.

I truly think he want's to win (which he was unable to do in Cleveland). He left to go play with Wade and Bosh for less money then the Cavs offered.

He gave them 7 good years.
