It's official ... you shouldn't drink on New Year's day ... Why, you get drunk again and again you get a hangover ...this time, Cava[Spanish bubbly] withn OJ and grenadine syrup .. was enterteining visits and got hooked on the damm mimosas and then hit the rum/cola train ..

Just got home from the package store. Well, it's not really a liquor store anymore...

I went to where I thought it was,  but it's now a 7-Eleven! WTF??!!!  I was just there two weeks ago... It's like a Social Distortion song.   

Anyway, there wasn't much of a selection, but I was able bring home a small bottle of Maker's

usually seen em with a Maple flavored frosting...usually some form of a white cake made with bacon grease integrated somehow into the recipe (read once where to make a clarified butter with bacon grease and then let it harden and reuse as desired) and then the crumbled bacon mixed into the batter
