That's a great price - enjoy the show! I'm going to be spending tomorrow starting to learn how to be a high school math teacher, hopefully in time for classes in January. While it's seldom actually true, in my case it's entirely appropriate to grouse "those who can't do, teach." If you do pick one up, I'm going to be bundling up a whole bag of dull chisels next time I head down into Phoenix.

I have about 50 knives. But those two are the only ones in my carry rotation. Benchmade tumult auto and spyderco caly3 carbon.

We watched a long demo of him sharpening a tanto blade. Come on down to PHX with all your knives and we'll go to my dad's in Tucson. He'll sharpen all them for ya! BTW..Cold Steel was at the show today. That guy from all of their promo videos was there too, i.e.: the one who cuts through pigs with Conan swords. Anyway, he another guy were doing some close-quarter knife fighting behind the display. Pretty crazy!

I've got a couple of Emersons that I like. But my daily carry is a standard issue Benchmade/Osborne. Smaller, lighter. Can't even remember the model number. Got a black handled one with standard blade, tanto point and a green handled one with a blackened blade, tanto point and half serrations. Nice everyday cutters.

Some of my french knife collection. I've always loved the intricate file work on the Laguiole knives. Never have seen the non-wood handled Opinels before. Those are kind of cool!
