I don't find the 675 to feel that much lighter than the 848, so I'd rather have the evo's 'stuff'

if your body doesnt feel like its part of the bike, or youre simply just fighting the ergos of the bike you wont really enjoy it. Id pick an R6 over the 675 anyday.

there's no real "better"/"worse"  they each have their advantages and disadvantages. 


I'ld go for the 675 or the evo, personally. But the r6 has been an excellent bike since its 06/07 remake (alittle rev hungry, making it not always excellent for town use).  I really wonder what the next redesign brings.

I've got two Gixxers and a Busa (yes, they all get along with the Ducs in the garage ). matttc7 is right, no better/worse. Like people all bikes are different. I would like to ride a 675 Daytona just to say I have. Had a friend leave his 848 in my garage while he borrowed my 996S. Resisted the temptation to take it for a spin. For the same reason I don't need to ride a new Duc 1098/1198 SBK or my friend's latest GSXR1000. But for some reason I'd like to ride a 675. Guess it's because I know (or I think I know...) I wouldn't actually buy one. Another reason I avoid all demo days.

The R6 seat position wise and how my body lays on the tank is top notch. i feel like its made for my body, everything fits me beautifully.  Its design is DEAD Sexy and its got some really clean lines. It feels so good, id give up my monster with clip ons to get an R6 anyday of the week.



I would of said R1, but we are talking about 600cc class bikes here. I think the R1 is even better of a bike, the new 2010 R1 is insanely good looking. Its my 3rd favorite bike in terms of liter class...

You can't do a literal conversion from one currency to another.  There are too many things to factor in, such as taxes in each applicable country, and discounts applied due to perceived market share.

Makes sense. I didn't think they would list a price accounting for this. Usually you can convert MSRP and it's fairly accurate.

And $12K is not bad for a bike with that capability, considering it comes with Brembo monoblocs and Ohlins (albeit OEM) bouncy bits...

I'd have to ride them all to know for sure. Probably the R6, 675, or gsxr600... I was surprised the suzuki was so pricey...

I spent about a year on an '08SE Daytona, and it handled pretty damn well once I got the suspension set up more to my likings.  I kind of regret selling the thing, but don't regret buying the Super Duke at all.

Why not the evo stealth...it's cheaper and more badass

and that is a crazy cheap CBR...i'll be buying three tomorrow
