We've got a red 675 that keeps our Monsters company, but once Triumph started making changes to the nose (adding those louvers) and adding different graphics, I really felt like the bike was starting to look cheap.

Though I do like the color scheme of the SE:

Yeah, blue is my favorite color, so just about anything that comes in blue gets my attention.   [thumbsup]

675's not comfy?

I rode my 06 600 miles straight to go to the first dimby

I'd do it again too ;D

I, also, regret selling mine.

I fit on it really well. Really comfortable on that bike. Probably too comfortable. I could crush on the track and on the street.

It went to 13,000 miles before I sold it.  Never checked a valve or had an issue. 45-50 mpg

$10,100 otd and it beat the 848 in all the mag tests.

Not that that swayed me, I just really liked it (848's are cool too)

I don't think the 675R will be worth it. I can't see it being that much better than the normal 675 when it's such a capable bike out of the box.

I'll be awaiting the review comparisons between the 675R and the 848 evo...

Should be exciting, my money is on the 848evo...

848 would have little to no chance against the 675 in the speed stakes.

Price aside, the two bikes were nearly an even match in 09.

With the redesign in 10-11 correcting many of the weak points the 848 had I think it will be the better bike this year.

The 848 has more power but previously the 675 out handled the 848 on the track. I think with all the improvements to the 848 combined with the increased power it will be a contender... this is all my opinion so dont go shitting bricks.

I personally think the comparison between these two bikes really comes down to rider preference.  Rider A will prefer the power delivery of the twin, and will make it work to his/her advantage on the track.  The opposite could easily be said for rider B, and they might appreciate the triple's power delivery better. 

I personally like the Daytona better, but that's just me.

we get 675s in on trade for 848s at the shop i do parts at. makes me wonder if the triumph dealer is getting 848s in on trade for 675s

I like the old SE's paint job more, black and gold, but I can see myself rocking this one in white and blue. It's definitely different.
