Babs has a 2.0tdi VW golf and the build quality is 1st class and the gas mileage which is very important in the UK ($8 a gallon) is fantastic plus the value of second hand golfs is always top dollar... waytogo

gas mileage on a diesel?  how novel...

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

You can buy the VW in the states...

The Alfa is sexy from any angle.  I have yet to see a picture of the GTI that makes it look good.

You guys suck, except Geoff. The Alfa will be more expensive than the GTi, but unless it's oppressively more I don't know if I will be able to resist the temptation. Again you guys suck at talking a guy out of something.

Sorry Tini, it's a done deal.

You're like a hot drunk slut at a frat party complaining you're not getting respect.

You know you want the Alfa.  Buy it and love it.  Take good care of it and it will be fine.

The Alfa of today isn't the same company that made my 1970 GTV.
