i can do it from a Japanese cell just as easy as from a US cell. Only difference is I have 2 types of emails I can send from here. One is a normal looking email that uses a normal looking address. The other is "c-mail" that uses the phone's specific # followed by the network for the address.

Any way you look at it, I don't have the # to text. And, I'm not on land. So, it's a bit moot for a little while longer.
