Boy metallimonster, for a minute, you had me almost thinking that TOledo was the next LSU.  But then they played the BUS and everyone saw that yes they are talented, but they are still TOledo (a MAC team who isn't quite there yet compared to the big boys).

Moore put on a clinic again and aside from a few batted balls, was outstanding.

Category 7!!!!
Not even jacory Harris could stop that d from dominating. What an impressive performance. Wish I had dvr'd it - I actually watched the fsu-zero u game forthe most part.

He tried though. I'd swear that he is partially color-blind

1. Metallimonster? Paging Metallimonster...  ;D

2. Chirp chirp...crickets...
Seriously? No comments on the ACC picking up Pitt and Syracuse...the Big 12 and Big East talking merger while Texass(Intentional misspelling of the university that singlehandedly hosed the Big12) and OU talk PAC12...

Should have a College Football Silly Season thread...

And what of Notre Dame? Do they hold on to their independant status or do they join the ACC? They do have a pretty good rivalry game in Boston College but hardly enough to join a conference.

Are Fickell's days at OSU numbered? It was obvious that he couldn't get anything past the mediocre D that is Miami. But then, as I said, Miami isn't Toldeo.

The U's D looked downright scary. I guess they decided to show up this week. When you have Jacory Harris playing for the other team, you'll be put in many bad situations. You can't fault the D for not looking splendid in every game when the opponent's offense just has to drive less than 50 yards.

I'm at a conference with limited access to internet. You'll get my feelings on my shity team when I get a chance.  Miami's D was good but our QB's and coach sucked a big dick.

Oh now don't get all Michigan Fan drama queen on me. We reserve the right for that ourselves.

I will agree though...Ohio State looked like crap and that's something they rarely do. It was like Miami was playing Northern Iowa or Central Michigan...

I know Fickell is the interim coach but do you think OSU is going to let him last the season or do they start throwing money at Urban?

Exactly!!!!!

I think this new round of re-alignment is going to get really interesting really quickly.

Seems that the huge exodus from the Big 12 has been temporarily stemmed.

I think the PAC12 was interested in adding OU and OK St but didn't want them to drag along Texass' baggage.

The ACC/Big East landscape seems to be the bigger news of late.

Honestly, I was excited about the possibility of the Big East and Big 12 merging...

Funny how Texass' AD is now all about conference championship games being a bad thing when he was all for the concept when the Big 8 grew to the Big 12 and Nebraska/Tom Osbourne was against it. Funny how an attitude changes when you want to be the only big fish in the pond.

The Big 10 landscape has changed somewhat since last season...Nebraska isn't as dominant as they should be so far...the Blackshirts are weaker than anticipated. I am having some reservations about a Wisky/Huskers championship game. Wisky on the otherhand is poised to be the top dog in the Big10 with the Illini looking to be the surprise of the season...
Iowa has lost a very large part of its momentum.
Ohio State has a rough time coming up in conference play.
Michigan better find a defensive strategy that works soon and the offense better get a bit more diverse or we will be back to the games of last year where Denard scores 38 points a game while the defense allows 42.
Michigan State...wow...just wow. Notre Dame is not a strong team this year but they still managed to put the smack down on the Spartans.
Purdue and Northwestern look to be their normal perpetual also ran selves and Minnesota looks to follow the spoiler role normally reserved for Iowa...

Anyway, I am jonesing for weekends of mostly conference games to see where the dust starts to settle out a bit.
