S4R 80 miles per tank???

sooo, i thought my fuel level sensor was bad as it was coming on 50-60 miles after a fill up. i kept filling up at that point afraid that perhaps it was correct and recently went on a long ride - light came on around 60 miles after fill up and i kept going. long story short my bike ran out of gas at 84 miles after fill up. HOW THE HELL IS THAT POSSIBLE? anyone ever have any experience with that in the past? i haven't noticed/smelled any conspicuous leaks - i do have an aftermarket cap (can't imagine that would have anything to do with it) but have no idea what this could be about. just seems nutty

Only 80 miles to a tank? Hmmm.

My theory is the problem lies between handlebars and seat, specifically at the right wrist kinematic process.

Have you let the bike sit for the winter ? Clogged injectors could cause the problem.

That's awfully low. I get about 90 before the fuel light comes on. That's with a heavy wrist too.

Hey ugly just so you know, I was kidding when I posted that you were hooning out and using too much gas with the throttle. Just a little joke for youz. But maybe there is something wrong with your bike.

No worries man, I actually giggled a bit about it cuz I do ride like an @#shole and figured that could possibly be part of the issue. But even I don't have the skills to make this beast only deliver 20mpg.

My S2R 800 only get 76 before the light comes on. This is also due custom fuel map inside her. Not sure my wallet likes the new mod but my wrist DOES

Maybe you guys need to use the left side a little more and try out, say 4th, 5th, 6th

Silly question, but how much fuel can you put in your tank? Could the problem come from the plastic swelling, so your tank capacity has gone down?

Wow, I'm liking my M750 more and more. I'm getting 40-45mpg even spending a tank running back and forth on Deals Gap!!!
