After Todd shot that kid, I came to the conclusion that nothing good is ever going to happen for Walt again.

Walt...  Well, the foreshadowing has been going on this entire season.  He's gonna die, & die bad.  Just a question now of how many others he takes with him.

yeah... i thought it was kind of amusing when walter was talking about icarus to jesse earlier in the season.

pot? kettle?

I think if Jesse finds out that Mike is dead he is going to wise up fast, after Mike's warning.I think it would be cool if Jesse goes to Hank and says "You want Hessenberg I'll give you Hessenberg."

Walt's such a dick...

That I've started calling people 'Walts' instead of dicks.

With Mike dead, Jesse's interactions w/Walt will certainly take a turn.  Just waiting to see what turn that'll be.

I'm thinking Walt will end up either killing or alienating everyone in his life b/c of his pride and lust for power.

He'll end up financially rich and alone realizing just how rich (in life) he *used* to be.

he's gonna end up on his own, with no family by his side, running from hank...

there will be no on-screen redemption for walt. the writers have already gone "too dark" to give him any sort of forgiveness.

Gilligan has done an absoutly make the beast with two backsin amazing job at making the Protagonist into the antagonist. Walt has truely 'broke bad'. There is no redemption, there isn't supposed to be one. Walt isn't supposed to win. From the season opener, the flash forward to his 52nd birthday, we know the cancer is back, he was hiding out in new Hampshire, which probably means he was cut off form his family. He needed to buy a belt fed .50cal which meant a massive violent shoot out was about to happen, Walt is going down as he should.

What a great make the beast with two backsin show!  We all started out feeling really bad for the guy and wanting to see him succeed to now wanting to see him crumble and fall apart due to his ego and greed.

My only complaint is that we have to wait for the 2nd 'half' of the final season. I hate AMC and their 'split' seasons.

Its funny that Walt was shocked when Tocco(sp?) beat that guy to death in the junkyard. He was shocked when Gus slit that guys throat. Now here he is killing Mike like its just business.

I was thinking it would be interesting if Jesse mails letter to Hank saying Walt is who he is looking for. While its in the mail Walt kills Jesse and things all the lose ends are tied up. Then surprise Hank is at the front door.

And vice versa with Jesse's character.  Hard to believe he originally wasn't going to make it past season 1.

I'd say Walt's going out in a blaze of glory, but that's a little too Scarface-esque.

Maybe the .50 cal is for Walt Jr.'s birthday. How else do you top getting a kid a new Challenger? Walt is setting the bar really high for the following year with that move.  ;D

Plus I doubt you would have to leave NH to get one.
