Thanks!

I just hope I can control the mod bug. Right now I'm just going to replace the mouse ears. I will try to stay away from any exhaust/suspension/brake mods.

But have you heard the Arrows 3-1 low boys yet?  Because... ummm... yeah, you need them.  Shhh... dont fight it, it's going to happen either way. haha.

I've seen them but never heard them. I'm not exactly sure how long I'll be down here, so I mostly want to keep the mod to anything I can take back with me.

Thanks for the video! Definitely a unique exhaust note.

The Arrow 3 into 1 is awesome!  The quality is excellent, you lose about 18 pounds, gain about 5 hp, and you can get rid of the ugly passenger pegs.

<IF> I were interested in mods, I would start with barend mirrors, fender eliminator kit and exhaust. </IF>

I may cave and do the fender eliminator.  The D3(Tripletek) Tail Tidy Lowboy seems well reviewed on the Triumph board.  I have already caved on several other items for the bike, so it will likely happen again [evil]

I wanted to revive this thread cause I need to complain about the stock seat. It's good for the most part, but it kinda crushes me down there. Do they offer anything aftermarket?

There is a Triumph gel seat, which most seem to find not that much of an improvement.  Both Sargent and Corbin offer Street Triple models.  If you were in the States, I would suggest sending your seat off to Spencer.  I find moving back on the seat (when possible) to work well.  You are right though--the seat is quite uncomfortable.

My issue being vertically challenged is that I have to move up close to the tank when in traffic. That's where my sack takes more of the crushing. While on the move it's not an issue.

Most of the options involve a higher seat sadly, which puts them out for me as well.  The Corbin seat specs have a seat height of 31 inches, so you might want to check that out.

How hard would it be to ship it to spencer for his seat mod?  I know that he'll lower it... even with shipping unless it's a huge hassle it might be still the cheapest best option.

I say that maybe the answer is to custom dent the tank for "personal" reasons then.

Because of the already shallow seat pan, Spencer can't lower the height of the seat.  He certainly would have been my first choice as well.
