Yup, it's supposed to sound like that....

Ordered a G2 Throttle Tamer and Domino grips.  For some reason, feels that the throttle twist on the S4 is a lot stiffer than the S2R.  Not sure why but gotta fix issue as my right wrist feels like it went through an intense gym exercise every time I'm on the bike for more than an hour.

lubricate the throttle body springs on the butterflies
also check your cables

you might want to also try the electrean quick throttle, seems like an oxymoron getting a throttle tamer with a quick throttle cam, but the reduced twist of the quick cam will feel better on your wrist and the tamer, well, will tame the hard initial power hit.

Thanks Raux.

Finally decided what to do about my fork dilemma.

Since I can't find a buyer for the 999 forks, triple and rotors, they're going on the S4.  Forks are being equipped with RaceTech gold valve kit and new springs.  Once completed, the Speedymoto triple, woodcraft clipons and rotors will be added.  To keep the wheels red, going with a pair of  Carrozzeria V-TRACK Forged Aluminum Wheels as to not mismatch.

i had a set of oz racing gold wheels for that bike some years ago.  whatever the model was before the piegas.  soooooooo money.  i've never seen a set for sale since.  The buccis i think?  i'll keep my eyes open.  I'm always scouring the forums.  i know you didn't ask but i'm not a fan of the carrozzeria wheels on the ducs.  they feel too angular and seem like they belong on their asian brethren.

I've got the money lined up for purchase but haven't sent it away to the vendor yet, however, I do my best to send Monsterparts.com as much business as possible.  If you've got a lead on a PVM dealer in the US, let me know.  Would love to have a set.

Check that Penske fitment to the rocker, they've had a tendency to fit a 'too short' eye on that end.

STM star pressure plate arrived from Pro Italia via the slow boat and painted CycleCat clutch cover low gloss black.

Domino grips, G2 throttle tamer, fast throttle cam and SpeedyMoto EVO water pump installed.

Next pics come once newly painted seat cowl and tank return from DP.
