So it turns out that at about 11k, the oil comes out the little breather filter...

Part of the problem is the stock style with the reed valve in it holds the oil. Swapped it with a through hole style and added some hose.

Second test run went much better, with a strong pull through first and up to about a ton in second.

Tech was a breeze once we found the right people. Heading out for a first pass.

Only got three runs in today. We were waiting in line for a fourth but somebody apparently had a yard sale on course 2, while concurrently somebody had a redneck moment at the bend, tying up all the ambulances and life flights.

The second run was terrible, but the last one was awesome. Must have gotten pretty close to good enough, because it surprised me by lighting up the tire pretty violently on the good salt, in first, a little wheelspin in second, and straight up to 130 about the first mile for an average run over mile 2 at 133. It was the super short rookie/tuning course, so we grabbed the time slip and headed for a longer course... But ran out of race day.

Back at it tomorrow!

I've lost a bit of the plot, what class are you running in?

Modified fuel 750.

Nekkid 749r on alky. It will run with a wide range of afr, not so much timing.

Today did not go as well. This morning ran the same tune that was good yesterday in nearly the same conditions. Flat, no power, wouldn't pull.

Pulled timing, nothing. Pulled fuel, nothing. Added fuel until it got worse, then it got too windy and we called it for the day. Drilled a for real vent in the gas cap, because I'm not sure it was really vented.

Did it drop a cylinder? Or just go flat on both?

Fuel pressure lost?
