Unfortunately, Robin and I are going to have to take a year off. Too much baby mama drama still to get away...the good news, by the time I am able to take another vacation, I should have about 8 weeks accrued.

If there's a bedroom for Ash and me, and they're cool with a 40 pound Springer named Homer, Ashley and I are in.

Just got a response from the owner through Jonzey that they will make an exception for your
four legged Duc fan . We will have a bedroom for the two edit  three of you as well.

Jonezy is getting me the final number but I'm confident that $550 would be the total damage for the three of you.

I just got confirmation that Doug Barnette, one of the guys I used to ride with in Chattanooga, is coming out with Joel to ride with us at Ouray (Telluride). 

Karl, if you can write Doug in for a sofa or roll-away spot he (and I) would greatly appreciated it.

For what it's worth, Doug is 68 years old and is a notorious sheep make the beast with two backser.  Please approach him as such and feel free to give him a ration of shit when you see him.  He likes that, especially if you comment negatively on how slow and poorly he rides.....even if you haven't seen him ride.  (You can always lie and say you saw a "Keener Video" of him.  A "Keener Video" is a video shot by Jim Keener...another guy we used to ride with back east....and could include riding, sheep make the beast with two backsing, or both simultaneously.)

Bad news: I have been informed that I'm going to be in a wedding on the 10th.

Good news: I'm not one of the parties getting married.

As I mentioned earlier, Doug Barnette is driving out with JJ.  Ashley, Homer, Doug, and I will pile into the Tundra and pull both my bike and Doug's bike to Telluride.  I'll need to get directions to the place we're staying.  Also, who plans to get there first, and what's the check-in procedure....if anyone knows. 

I expect we'll be there fairly early and may want to ride a bit Friday afternoon.
