The vid showed that I need to work on looking farther ahead and scoping out lines better. I'm saw myself doing a lot of shaky course corrections as a result. Also saw places where I turned in too early on a double apex corner and wound up running wide. All good, just trying to get better and have fun doing it.

Gotcha - your course corrections weren't as bad as that dude on the R1 who binned it the day before. He was weeble wobbling all over the place

Joe, you didn't look as bad as the R6 in the end who was trying to force himself past Ian in a couple spots and overcooked it badly....

Yep. I have enough self control to back off when I know I can't pass safely. But, I did target fixate on R6 dude when he ran off so I blew that same turn. Another lesson learned!

Glad you can pick out what you are doing wrong. If I may chime in.
I want to point out that you need to work on only 1 steering input per turn. At 2:58 for example, it looks like you are steering it to correct your line. Once you have the bike turned, you open that throttle right away (I noticed some areas where you were waiting for a second or two longer than yo needed to as if you were waiting to hit the apex of the turn before opening the throttle). If you find yourself going wide, hold that throttle at the position (do not close, resist the survival instinct) and your line will close. Similarly if you find yourself turning in too early, continuing rolling on the throttle until your line opens up and hold it to tighten it back to the apex. This may not seem like much as slower speeds but once you get comfortable going faster it's the only way to not upset the suspension.

That turn at the top of the hill after the bridge, the one referenced, is a giant pain in the ass though. The line one should take, and the one it looks like you should take are very different. The GoPro flattens it out, but the outside has a dip and is negatively cambered, so it spooks a lot of folks - but its where you need to go to set up for the next turn, which sets you up for the two lefts down to the straight. So we see (or don't see due to my wheel) Joe trying to stick it inside on that 180 degree left - getting flummoxed and then losing the drive down the hill.
But yes, watching this I see a few mid turn steering inputs that aren't needed

Good observations. Thanks! Watching Frank's vid, I notice how he tips the bike in and holds it-- one big input at the beginning and on the gas early. That's what I need to try for. There were a couple of times when I thought I would run wide and instinctively tried to slow down with a light touch on the brake, which resulted in... running wider. Next time I'll work on keeping a steady throttle and adding lean.

Anyone up for VIR North in July with NESBA??? July 15 and 16 each day 99.00 for elite members...not sure what it is for the peasants though.
Should be a good time...I check in to my new job tomorrow and it should be fun to see my new boss's face when I drop all my track days and race schedule in front of him for approval...lol

I totally WANT to do this... weekdays are hard because I have no real leave time right now and have to balance "my" off time with the "family" off time.

YOU SUCK!
Just kidding!
You seemed to be doing pretty well until about the 6 minute mark, then you looked more sloppy: was that tiredness kicking in?

It was the latter part of the second day... my legs burned... and i was exhausted. I ran this session short and the next two even shorter before throwing the towel in for the day. My body was done. lol.
