Took home 1st place @ the Monster Challenge. Time to prep for Indianapolis Sprockets on the Speedway. Getting some new bits from SD and StadaFab custom belt covers.
Sweet congrats!  Mine took 3rd in Indy. I should have the crankshaft covers in soon ;)

Realizing that my bike is outmatched by those created by shops it will be fun to enter this year and get inspired by what others have done. Hopefully the work Randy did will help set her apart from others.... 8)

I will but unlike the Monster Challenge I have no illusions of winning the whole thing. If I do I will be shocked. There were some impressive things I saw when I was in Indy in '12.

Right It's very hard to compete against the likes of Bellissimoto, Shift-Tech, Danger , Cyclebilly...
My bike has won two people choice awards and a 3rd place in this latest Ducati Dealers monster challenge.
But in main events where full time shops show up no one looks at it lol
I suggested in the past that Ducati shops and bling shops should have their own class to compete in.

just my 2 sour grapes  [laugh]

I agree 100% The Monster Challenge should be for amateurs.

Took the De Pretto side covers I bought from Speeddog and painted them a nice black to go with the bike. They turned out pretty sick. Also re painted the belt covers while I want for the ones Randy did for me.

+1. Theres little competing when a contestant(s) have huge budgets and unlimited resources.
Its like Bobby Fischer entering a college chess competition.

Well no matter what I plan to give it my best shot against the big boys in August at Indy. If anything it'll inspire someone else or I'll get some other ideas. Just have to balance the fine line of great versus over worked.

Still waiting for my Moto Corse titanium radiator covers. Need to get off my lazy ass and send StradaFab some belt covers so mine can be reworked.

Off to Indy in a months time.
