Unless I sell my track car, 4 bikes is all I can fit in my garage. hmmmm

Nice mix of twins!  Now you just need a BMW and a parallel twin to have all twin configurations!

I actually like the pic better as a progression of ergonomics from relaxed to agressive ( though the Monster isn't exactly "aggressive" )

but to JM's comment, perhaps a BMW GS ?!?!?!

I think I need a Bonnie (maybe Thruxton), and an Airhead BMW.

To the OP

right now it's 1 daily runner with another project in pieces. What I've decided I "need" to have in addition to my built Monster; a new or newish Z1000 (coming soon), and a "real" Ducati superbike of some sort (still prob the SF). So my answer is 3 running bikes and an ever going ratrod/restore/personal fun project bike.

So, 4 bikes....2 on rear stands around the crib...one dirty daily rider...and another in pieces on and around the bench. Mmmhm that's a nice equilibrium.

3 bikes.  I would consider getting 4, but that would be my absolute limit!

as it is i wish i could ride all 3 of them more than i do.

Current 2 bikes, a monster and triumph.

If budget allows, I want Ducati street fighter, a small 100cc CRF.

I had 4, but for me that was too many to ride regularly and the maintenance was too expensive.  Consequently, the Speed Triple was sold.   :'(

I like your garage/shop.

I wish I had that kind of room. It's tough doing the maintenance on 3 bikes in a single car garage.

I asked THE QUESTION to the wife again. Well, it's not a "yes". But at least it wasn't an emphatic "no" either. This thread seems to be working!  laughingdp

Yeah, the more I think of it...3 bikes. One that has a ton of sentimental value ( like a bike you built yourself ) one that is your DREAM machine, and a constant third that's in various pieces/stages of a never ending project. Then again...if you're a racer or adventurer or both then you'd need 4 or 5. The above plus a dedicated track bike, a dedicated touring bike, or both. 5 bikes it is.
